Personal Lord   
 
What you amount to, o pilgrim,
is a blend of God’s various attributes
 
arranged in a dissimilarity
to every other human being.
 
The revelation of this intricacy
crumbles the walls of solitude,
 
bringing the Cosmic down to earth
as the one true Friend,
 
the one true relationship, the one true
element of sameness within each of us.
 
O child of God, some Christians
use the phrase personal Lord and Savior.
