The Highest of High (Who
alone exists)
apparently reflecting and
responding
to every soul according
to their existing awareness.
When the atheist declares my
Lord
a madman or fraud, he is
telling the truth
as per the evidence of his
individual perception.
When the sophisticate smiles
with condescension;
when the Buddhist nods,
agreeably non-committal;
when the Christian, Muslim,
Jew shouts blasphemy,
it is of no occasion for dispute
or refutation
but instead the moment for a
short, private prayer –
thank You, Lord, for
revealing Yourself to me.
O child of God, your business
is to love Him.
His business is everything
else.
